Sichuan Vocational and Technical College of Suining Electronic Industry School, Sichuan Suining Normal School, was founded in 19 17, with more than 50 years of junior college education and more than 90 years of vocational education. Sichuan Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general higher vocational and technical college approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government in April 2002, which was formed by the merger of the former North Sichuan Institute of Education and Sichuan Mechanical and Electrical Engineering School. The college is jointly established by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and Suining Municipal People's Government, and is headed by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. The former North Sichuan Institute of Education was founded in 1956. It has experienced the historical evolution of Mianyang junior high school teacher training class, Mianyang University, Mianyang College, Mianyang regional middle school teacher training school, Mianyang regional teacher training college, Mianyang Education College, Sichuan Education College Suining Branch and North Sichuan Education College. Since its establishment in May1,it has been engaged in junior college education, and has successively been affiliated to Mianyang Special Zone and Sichuan Province.
