Brief Introduction of Distance and Continuing Education College of Northeast Normal University
The College of Continuing Education was formally established on August 22nd, 2000. It is formed by the integration of five units, including the Adult Education College of Northeast Normal University, the Northeast Education Management Cadre Training Center of the Ministry of Education, the Teacher Training Center of Northeast Normal University of the Ministry of Education, the Continuing Education Research Center of Primary and Secondary School Teachers of Northeast Normal University, and the magazine Training of Primary and Secondary School Teachers. In 2003, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Northeast Normal University established an online education college and began to recruit students for online education. In August 2005, in order to further optimize the allocation of resources, the College of Continuing Education and the College of Online Education merged to form the College of Distance and Continuing Education, which fully undertook the organization, management and teaching of online education and continuing education in our school. Our college is a school-running institution that embodies the concept of lifelong education and integrates management, teaching and scientific research.
