There are two ways to obtain teacher qualification certificate in China: one is to take the national unified examination, and the other is to take the local independent examination. Both forms of examination mode are written test+interview.

It is estimated that by the end of 20 15, 1 1, all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China will implement the unified examination policy except Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

The written examination subjects in the national unified examination area are different from the local independent examinations. The written subjects of local independent examinations are Pedagogy, Educational Psychology and Educational Policies and Regulations. The national unified examination is divided into five levels: kindergarten, primary school, junior high school, senior high school and secondary vocational school, including kindergarten, primary school and secondary vocational school (subject 1: comprehensive quality); Subject 2: education (teaching guarantee) knowledge and ability), these three periods do not involve the investigation of professional knowledge; Junior and senior high schools should take one more professional knowledge test. According to the regulations, the teacher qualification certificate can only be obtained through written examination and interview, and the single subject score is retained for two years.
