Yinchuan No.15 Middle School was founded on 1975. In August, 2006, xingqing district Municipal Government of Yinchuan City integrated the high-quality educational resources of the former Yinchuan No.4 Middle School and Yinchuan No.15 Middle School to become a model junior middle school. The school covers an area of about 30,750 square meters, with a building area of 24,000 square meters and a total playground area of about 4,700 square meters.

Yinchuan Tanglai Huimin Middle School is the largest complete middle school in the autonomous region and the first batch of first-class demonstration schools in the autonomous region. The young institution founded by 1990 has now become a bright pearl in the frontier education field, and it is the "national advanced unit of campus culture" and "national advanced collective of education system" awarded by the Ministry of Education.
