Recently, the Office of the Education Steering Committee of the State Council issued the Notice on Carrying out the Quality Monitoring of National Compulsory Education in 2022 (No.8 [2022] of the State Education Steering Committee) to make arrangements for the quality monitoring of national compulsory education this year. Zizhong County of our city will participate in the monitoring as one of the sample counties of Sichuan 16. This is the second year of the third round of national compulsory education quality monitoring since 20 15, and it is also the first round of monitoring to implement the Outline of National Compulsory Education Quality Monitoring (202 1 Revised Edition). It is reported that the new monitoring program has expanded the subject areas and added English subjects, labor education and mental health areas. This year's monitoring covers the quality of students' Chinese, art and English learning in compulsory education, as well as related influencing factors such as curriculum, condition guarantee, regional management and students' mental health. The monitoring objects are the fourth and eighth grade students in the spring semester of 2022, teachers of Chinese, music, art and English in related grades, principals of related schools, and managers of relevant districts and counties. The monitoring time is the whole day of May 25th, 2022 and the morning of May 26th.
