What is future education? It is an education that conforms to the laws of education, meets the needs of the times, and can effectively use advanced productive forces (plus: it may not be possible to make money now).

I can only discuss based on this assumption, and I also think that thinking like this is more likely to do something right and big (and of course more likely to die on the beach). If you want to make money now, please go to Zhongguancun to design the company's goals according to the needs of billboards and small advertisements on the road.

I didn't do education before, which determined my way of thinking and perspective. I am a person who has a background in biomedical engineering, psychology and human-computer interaction, designs products (different from children's products) and loves the Internet. In my work experience, I think more about the future products of the institute, so I value the value of being a little ahead.

Although Zebra Knight is doing children's education, which is quite different from * * education, I think all education should conform to the trend of future education, and children's education should even represent future education. From this point of view, the zebra rider has not really hit the road, and the education reform in China has not really started.

But when it comes to education, it is definitely a complicated topic, which can basically cover all aspects of society, politics, economy, science and technology, culture and people's livelihood. We can talk about ideas, systems, systems and national conditions from the aspects of content, products and services. For Internet people whose ideological boundaries are basically limited to screen and product thinking, the education industry in China is as complicated as the Milky Way, and it is difficult to understand its essence.

Complex, complex in the word "China". We can see that the educational reform supported by new technology and the new educational products/models in full swing abroad seem to be impossible to implant in China. The education market in China seems to be a different dimensional space, which does not follow the law of technology and education development (making C2C-copy to China completely ineffective). In China, there seems to be a huge gap between ideal and reality in order to do education that conforms to the future trend.

However, someone has to try to cross it. So, let's go back to the original question and assumption: if it is to be done, what will be done in the future?

The first step, please close your eyes-selectively temporarily "ignore" the national conditions and systems! Don't talk about national conditions and do future education. Talking about the system means that you have been institutionalized (refer to the explanation in The Shawshank Redemption). Unless you want to do something to make quick money and run according to the national conditions (real estate agents who go out and turn right also make money faster than us), otherwise, if you firmly believe that education in China will take different forms in the future, you will have to "ignore" the current diversity for the time being. This kind of "closing one's eyes" is not cynicism or blind idealism, but a kind of "meditation" of starting a business-insight into the nature of things, attention to industry/user value, and attention to self-cultivation.

The second step, please believe-believe that the future is different. I don't want to hypnotize entrepreneurs (or myself). In fact, I don't need to hint at anything, such as iPad, Google Glass, Leap Motion, Myo wristband and 3D printer. If these are not the future, then what are they? If these are the future, will education be the same as it is now? Twenty or thirty years ago, when our parents were at our age and we were at our children's age, who would have thought that life today would be like this? What abilities do we need to learn and master to cope with our present life?

The national conditions and institutions of a country can be important factors that affect the development of an industry, but if they become the key or even the only factor that restricts the development of an industry, it can only show that there are no subversive factors (usually science and technology) in this industry, or the practitioners in this industry are seriously lacking in innovation. In modern society, especially in the information age, with subversive factors, politics, system, culture and ideology can't stop the revolutionary changes of an industry, such as modern cars, airplanes, wireless communication technologies, computers, the Internet and mobile phones ... Even in China in recent years 10, if the national conditions can determine an industry, there will be no Weibo in the media industry and no Alipay in the financial industry.

I don't believe that education, which is called the future trillion market, is only driven by market demand-the market demand determined by population and examination system has long existed; I don't believe that when the huge and brand-new trends such as mobile Internet and interactive technology appear, the education market just continues the original product and service model and development path, rather than the leap-forward and subversive development; I don't believe that all the young parents around me realize that education needs to be changed now, and this situation will continue for a long time. Otherwise, it can only show that the time has not yet come, or that we are not successful people. Therefore, doing education and talking about national conditions can only show that we have neither enough determination and courage, nor enough wisdom to understand the mission given by history and the magical power given by science and technology. If so, we can only say to ourselves, "Shame on you!" (It's really useless! It's always strange to translate … it's easier in English)

The third step is to look at education from the macro perspective of sociology, anthropology, history and economics (education is never just science and technology) and think about its essence. As for education, we are outsiders and have our own unique perspective. It doesn't matter if we are wrong.

Interpret the educational model with the concept of internet products;

Audience: the users of education are people; The output of education is also people; The object of educational service is the society. To some extent, people are relative constants in this model.

Goal: the goal/value of education = the inheritance of skills, that is, the effective dissemination of information (knowledge). At first glance, it seems that educational products/services have the characteristics of the Internet, but this is not accurate, and "improvement of people's skills" should be added. The key is this, which distinguishes educational products/services from general Internet information products/services. The latter only needs to consider the transmission of information, while the former needs to ensure the improvement of people's ability.

Content: Content is an integral part of educational products. It is the demand of the times and social production-educational goal that determines the content of teaching (teaching is needed in the future, and some contents are eternal).

Tools: Tools are another part of educational products and services. Content and media forms together form educational products, such as books and videos. Tools are the most relevant elements in science and technology.

Situation: Situation is determined by content, teaching methods and tools. For example, writing, language teaching methods and paper books determine that services are usually offline, and video and webcams make online services possible. Technology is an important factor, but it is also restricted by people's habits, lifestyle, culture, environment and economy. For example, I am not used to reading e-books, and video chat feels strange.

Laws/trends to be interpreted from it:

Although the essence of educational products has experienced the changes of the times and technology, it has almost never changed.

The biggest driving force of educational reform is the productivity driven by science and technology. Science and technology determine the content, tools, forms, teaching methods and scenes of education. (This is why we, IT people, participate in and even push for change! Traditional educators believe that content is the key, which is on the premise that other factors remain basically unchanged.

The trend of science and technology changing education (or the whole world) is to restore/simulate nature with science and technology, and restore/simulate the presentation of information in nature (from word books to multimedia to virtual reality) and the way of interaction (from keyboard to touch, voice, gesture, electromyography, eyes, EEG, etc.). We are constantly decoding the mystery of nature, and then innovating technology to copy or simulate it and create value from it.

Every major educational reform, science and technology are the core driving force, and every change is by no means aimed at a certain factor. It not only determines the renewal of educational content, but also determines the change of teaching methods. The future education will be different from the goal to the content, to the tools, media, forms and scenes.

What can be called educational reform must have a great influence and greatly improved the efficiency (effect) of education.

In the educational reform, people's habits, concepts, consciousness and culture are usually obstacles from the beginning (looking back, TV, computer, Internet, iPad, e-books ...).

get through

Paper and movable type printing in the "educational reform": science and technology have changed the media carrying information from word of mouth and tortoise shell bamboo slips into light and easy-to-write paper, and from manual production to mass production. Even though the content has not changed much, it has brought about great changes in media form, communication form, usage mode and usage scene, affecting a huge crowd and region. This is change!

Textbook reform of "educational reform": Textbooks are educational content, and every reform in modern times serves the needs of national ideology and productivity, but it is only a change in content or educational concept. Let alone change!

The "teaching reform" of the electric classroom: from paper books, handwritten books to film screening, it is only the change of the presentation mode of the media carrier, and the information cannot be spread. This is not a change!

Computer ppt in educational reform: The computer is absolutely revolutionary, but in the classroom in China, ppt is just another kind of film screening, which is still a classroom situation. Ditto, this is not a change!

Distance education and online school, a new educational force, changed little in content and used new technologies in tools and methods, but the audience at that time was too small to have a great impact. This is not a change!
