Under the concept of shared development, the cultural development of China is facing increasingly fierce competition. In order to effectively inherit the traditional culture of China, we should improve the cultural self-confidence of contemporary college students. However, after investigation and study, it is found that the present situation of college students' cultural self-confidence is not optimistic, which requires effective cultivation of college students' cultural self-confidence. This paper mainly analyzes and discusses the present situation and cultivation of college students' cultural self-confidence under the concept of shared development. Firstly, this paper introduces the current situation analysis of college students' cultural self-confidence under the concept of shared development, then puts forward the reasons for the lack of cultural self-confidence of contemporary college students, and finally puts forward effective ways and strategies to enhance their cultural self-confidence. The concept of "core literacy" has attracted the attention of academia and industry, and has become an important topic in the fields of educational research, educational practice and educational policy. Based on the level of college students' political core literacy, combined with the shared development concept emphasized by the 19th National Congress and the needs of curriculum reform in colleges and universities, this paper puts forward some suggestions on cultivating students' political core literacy in ideological and political courses in colleges and universities by improving course content, teaching methods, teaching models and evaluation standards.
