The vocational and technical certificates and vocational training certificates for weak current engineers in intelligent buildings issued by the Education Examination Center of China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Employment Training and Technical Guidance Center of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security must be obtained after being trained by relevant institutions and passing the examination. Generally, relevant inquiries can be made in official website and the Education Examination Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Weak current electrician engaged in a certain number of years can apply for weak current engineer:

(1) Assistant Weak Current Engineer:

1. College graduates have been engaged in weak current industry for three years;

2. Bachelor degree personnel engaged in weak current industry for one year;

3. People with master's degree or above don't need to evaluate assistant weak current engineers.

(2) Weak current engineer intermediate:

1. Persons with college education or above have worked continuously in the weak current industry for four years after obtaining the title of weak current assistant engineer;

2 master's degree personnel engaged in weak current industry for two to three years;

3. Doctoral personnel engaged in weak current industry for one year.

(3) Weak current engineer:

1. Bachelor degree or above, and continue to work in the weak current industry for five years after obtaining the title of weak current engineer;

2. College graduates shall not declare weak current engineers in principle.
