In the north and south of China, there are differences in parents' education methods, which I think is related to both social policies and living habits. The north prefers a stable, comfortable and secure lifestyle, so it prefers to pursue jobs such as "iron rice bowl" where one can see retirement at a glance, which is particularly obvious in the northeast. In ancient times, the living environment in the south was not as livable as that in the north. Even since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the south, which is dominated by individual economy, has been full of competition. Southerners have cultivated a kind of ability to survive in adversity since ancient times, and parents have also cultivated their children's independent ability intentionally or unintentionally. On the other hand, parents in the north are more human, and they will give more help to their children whether they are new to society or not, and even after separation, the family ties in the north are closer than those in the south.
