Here, experts from the National Committee for the Examination and Approval of Textbooks for Primary and Secondary Schools made a report on the examination and approval opinions of two sets of curriculum standard Chinese textbooks and the respective characteristics of version A and version S. Generally speaking, the guiding ideology and principles of the two sets of textbooks are in line with the requirements of "Chinese Curriculum Standard for Full-time Compulsory Education (Experimental Draft)". They all take the development of students' language and thinking as the main line, and proceed from the characteristics of children learning Chinese, which embodies the unity of instrumentality and humanity of Chinese curriculum; Under the guidance of the overall goal of the course, the implementation of low-level teaching goals should pay attention to the integration of knowledge and ability, process and method, emotional attitude and values, simplify clues and highlight key points. The content design embodies the overall gradient advancement of Chinese ability.

The second volume of Grade One and the first volume of Grade Two, each group includes an introduction, a "literacy" class, four or five texts and a "China Garden", which are interrelated and form an organic whole.

The literacy course has various forms, rich connotations and beautiful artistic conception, which is convenient for students to read and accumulate language.
