Central Academy of Fine Arts

It is the top academy of fine arts in China and the only higher art school directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) (China). Its predecessor was the National Beiping Art College, with Zheng Jin, a famous art educator, as its first president.

This is the first national art education institution in the history of China and the beginning of modern art education in China. With its distinctive China characteristics, high-level teaching quality and research results, it has won high praise from the international art education community, and has become a representative, leading and exemplary art college in the field of higher art education in China, enjoying an important position among world-class art colleges.

China Academy of Fine Arts, hereinafter referred to as Gome, located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is a national "double-class" construction university and the first batch of key construction universities in Zhejiang Province. The predecessor of China Academy of Fine Arts is the National Academy of Fine Arts. Mr. Cai Yuanpei, then president of the university, chose Hangzhou West Lake and founded the first comprehensive national higher art school-National Art College, which opened a chapter in higher art education in China.

Tsinghua University, abbreviated as "Tsinghua", is located in Haidian District, Beijing. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). Ranked among the national "double first-class", "985 project" and "2 1 1 project". It is the base of high-level personnel training and scientific and technological research in China, and is known as the "cradle of red engineers".

Academy of Fine Arts refers to an artist group organized for various purposes, such as promoting the development of national art, cultivating artists, holding regular exhibitions and awarding honorary members. Italy established the Academy of Fine Arts in16th century. France, Britain and the United States established their own fine arts academies in 17, 18 and 19 centuries.

There are eight independent professional fine arts institutions in China, namely, Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Fine Arts, Xi Academy of Fine Arts, sichuan fine arts institute Academy of Fine Arts, Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Hubei Academy of Fine Arts and Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, which are often referred to as the "Eight Fine Arts Institutes".
