Ouyang Zhongshi's representative works "Selected Poems of Ouyang Zhongshi in Shen Peng" and "Zhong Shi's Reading Notes at Night" are classic literary works which are widely praised in the field of literature and calligraphy. Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi has a high level of literature, art and calligraphy, and once served as a librarian of the Central Museum of Literature and History. In the field of calligraphy, he is a master of contemporary calligraphy construction and artistic scope expansion.
Weathering growth experience
Mr Ouyang Zhongshi was born in a turbulent era-11920s. At that time, the turbulent political situation made life difficult for ordinary people, let alone studying. However, Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi, who was born in turbulent times, did not give up his desire for knowledge and books. His persistent efforts are the reason why he was admitted to the philosophy department of Peking University.
From 65438 to 0954, Mr Ouyang was admitted to the philosophy department of Peking University, where he studied under the philosopher Jin. At that time, New China was poor and had to do everything, among which the lack of education was the most serious. After graduating from the Philosophy Department of Peking University, Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi chose to devote himself to the education in New China, giving his light and heat.
With the increasing attention to calligraphy education and the recovery of calligraphy industry, he made a move to invest in calligraphy education industry. Because Ouyang studied under Jin and other masters at school, he has a very unique view and experience on traditional culture and calligraphy industry, and his own cultural background is also quite high.
This is also the reason why Mr Ouyang Zhongshi was able to shine brilliantly in calligraphy education in New China at that time. In the educational career day after day, year after year, Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi's calligraphy cultivation has been continuously improved, and his own calligraphy has been perfected day after day and year after year, reaching its peak.
He once said, "Calligraphy education in China is not a personal undertaking, and I am willing to work with my friends to push it forward." This sentence has been carried out for nearly half of my life. Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi dedicated his youth to the basic education of middle school and burned his years on the students.
Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi's hard work and sincere patience for students make him deeply loved and respected by students.
Second, everyone in the calligraphy world.
Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi's calligraphy achievements come from his own thoughts, feelings and experiences gained in his long-term grassroots education practice. Long-term educational practice has made him understand that there are many problems, defects and deficiencies in primary education in China.
Therefore, he combined his professional knowledge and profound cultural background, with keen thinking and long-term vision, put forward a set of educational reform programs in China. The introduction of the scheme won the praise and recognition of the industry and attracted people's attention at that time.
The origin of calligraphy circle is not only because of Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi's superb artistic attainments, but also because Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi put calligraphy education on the right track and developed steadily at that time.
In the 1980s, after experiencing the trend of "emancipating the mind" put forward by the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, all walks of life in China were carrying out reforms, and Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi, together with many people in the industry at that time, undertook an arduous and great task that benefited future generations-opening higher calligraphy education.
From junior college to undergraduate, from master's degree to doctor's degree, a series of actions have made calligraphy education like a shower. Ouyang Zhongshi's proposal has been well received by people in the calligraphy field.
Third, the reasons for "bad students"
Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi's initiative opened up the higher calligraphy education industry at that time, which actually had the advantage of promoting the development of calligraphy education industry. But from the perspective of many people now, what Mr. Ouyang did has become the "biggest sin" in his life.
This "biggest mistake" looks a bit like a top hat. Is the real situation really so unbearable and wrong? The answer may not be.
1993, Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi successfully founded the first doctoral program in China at that time, which became a common criticism of later generations. The establishment of a doctorate requires a discipline to go through years and hardships.
If the subject content is poor, or the teachers and professors have not yet imparted profound knowledge points, this doctoral program is meaningless. Just like the doctoral program at that time, the students trained failed to become people with unique views and insights on China's industry and education.
On the contrary, in the eyes of people at that time, this topic became a dirty vanity fair, which was quite different from Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi's original intention. The reason why I brought a litter of rotten students is because of my husband's apprentice, Wang.
As one of the four disciples of Ouyang Zhongshi, their calligraphy skills have not been innovated and changed because of higher education. Their calligraphy skills are similar to those of Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi, and they have not made any contribution or innovation to the industry. This is why in later generations, people did not agree with Ouyang Zhongshi's promotion of higher calligraphy education.
The so-called "rotten students" on the Internet are actually more opposition and dissatisfaction with the current stagnant calligraphy industry and calligraphy education, and require practitioners in the calligraphy industry to make changes to make the calligraphy education industry flourish and actively promote it.
As the winner of "China Lanting Calligraphy Award-Lifelong Achievement Award", Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi's contribution to calligraphy education is obvious to all, and his love for grassroots education and calligraphy in his early years is even more touching. It can be said that Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi's contribution to calligraphy education is unique, and so is his enthusiasm and dedication.
His thinking on the cause of calligraphy education has changed little by little in the tortuous pace, just to devote himself to the cause of calligraphy education in China. His contribution made up for the shortage of popularization of calligraphy education since the founding of New China, and made up for the shortage of talents in higher calligraphy education in China.
Ouyang Zhongshi's "Ancient Instructions on Traditional Virtues in China" combines the famous sayings about virtues of famous artists in past dynasties, which not only embodies the spirit of traditional virtues centered on "nourishing qi and calming the world", but also adapts to the development of the times, striving to be timely and bring enlightenment to viewers. This should be Mr Ouyang Zhongshi's original intention of calligraphy.
