Jimo city Special Education Center is located at Wenhua Road 136 in the urban area. It is a full-time boarding school directly under the Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, with a schooling of nine years. In July, 2007, jimo city Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children was established in the school, and a student labor base was established in September. The deaf-mute adult high school education was jointly established with Longshan Adult School, forming a characteristic education system for disabled children in preschool, primary school, junior high school and vocational training.
