Master Hong Yi's works include Three Treasure Songs, Three Hundred Flowers and Jilian Poems, and Nursing Students.

1, Three Treasure Songs

Master Hongyi's most important work is "Three Treasure Songs", which is a song written by Master Taixu for the primary and middle school students in Quanzhou to worship Buddha in the morning and evening. This song expresses people's thinking about light, fire house and suffering, as well as their pursuit of great compassion, great wisdom and great strength. During his stay in Quanzhou, Master Hongyi also set up a "Platform Buddhist Research Association" for the temple and helped to sort out the ancient Buddhist scriptures in the temple. His works were not only widely sung at that time, but also praised as "the first famous Buddhist song written with modern music scores".

2. Hua Yan Ji Lian 300

Master Hongyi's book Hua Yan Ji Lian 300 is his research and writing on the translated Hua Yan Jing in Jin and Tang Dynasties, and it is also the masterpiece of modern master Hongyi. He pays attention to details in his practice, and he can take his time with trivial matters in life, showing his compassion. In addition, he also mentioned his hobbies and contributions when he was young, and his mental journey of going to temples to preach Dharma. Master Hongyi's calligraphy works and practice path show his unique views and love for Buddhism.

3. Nursing students

Master Hongyi's work "Protecting Students" is based on the noble sentiment of Buddhism that compassion does not kill life. In his creation, he expressed the priceless value of life and peace through vivid pictures and sincere poems. Although he was distorted and vilified by the enemy in the war, he still firmly conveyed positive energy encouragement to the patriotic soldiers against Japan and the people of the whole country.

Introduction to Master Hongyi

Li Shutong is a famous musician, art educator, calligrapher and drama activist, and one of the pioneers of China drama. After he returned from studying in Japan, he worked as a teacher and editor. Later, he became a monk, and his legal name was Hongyi, and his legal name was Yixian. Later, he was honored as Master Hongyi.
