Suqian College, located in Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, is a provincial public full-time undergraduate college officially approved by the Ministry of Education. It is jointly organized by Suqian Education Investment Management Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Education Development Co., Ltd., and adopts the school-running system and mode of "co-construction of provinces and cities, co-construction of eight schools, public-run and private-run, and cooperative education".

The motto of the school is "be virtuous and carry things". By the end of 10 in 2022, the school land area was 889,000 square meters: there were 9 secondary colleges and/kloc-0 sports departments, and 45 undergraduate majors, covering 9 disciplines such as engineering, literature, science, art, education, management, economics, law and agriculture.

There are 4 provincial key disciplines, 1 provincial brand specialty 1 and 1 provincial first-class specialty construction site 16; There are 747 full-time teachers. Founded in 2002, the school was formed by the merger of Xu Teachers College Suqian Branch, Suqian TV University and Suqian Vocational and Technical College (to be established).

In the same year, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education decided that eight provincial universities, including Nanjing Normal University, Suzhou University, Yangzhou University, Jiangsu University, Nanjing University of Technology, the former Xuzhou Normal University (Jiangsu Normal University), Nanjing University of Finance and Economics and Nanjing Institute of Technology, would jointly establish Suqian College.

In 20 14, Suqian College was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and the undergraduate level was clearly defined as a private university. In 2020, it was transformed into a provincial public undergraduate university with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
