1. Elective courses account for one third of the total credits.
The new scheme has greatly increased the proportion of elective courses. The required course credits were reduced from 1 16 to 96, and the elective course credits were increased from 28 to 48. The proportion of elective courses in total credits increased from 19.4% to 33.3%. At the same time, some knowledge points that are too difficult and of little use have been deleted from the compulsory courses.
Elective courses are divided into four categories: knowledge expansion, vocational skills, interests and specialties, and social practice. Schools can set elective courses according to local conditions. The knowledge expansion category mainly includes compulsory courses, elementary courses in universities, frontier courses in subject development and subject research-based learning. Vocational skills include life skills and vocational technology, local economic technology and other courses. Interests include sports, art, health education, leisure life, knowledge application and other courses. Social practice includes investigation and research activities, social practice activities, campus cultural activities and other courses.
When offering elective courses, schools should consider meeting the individualized development needs of students. Schools can create their own curriculum system and form school-running characteristics. On the premise of ensuring that compulsory courses such as ideological and political education, physical education and health, and art are offered every semester, and the weekly classroom teaching time of the school does not exceed 26 hours, high schools can independently formulate compulsory courses and elective courses, and middle schools in the province will no longer implement unified courses.
2. You can graduate early and take the college entrance examination.
The new plan encourages students to make individual study plans. Students should finish their studies within three years. Those who have the ability to complete the course and meet the graduation requirements can graduate ahead of time and take the college entrance examination.
Han Ping, deputy director of the Provincial Education Department, said that after the college entrance examination this year, he contacted some college entrance examination students. Some students said that studying repeatedly in the third year of high school felt like a waste of a year. The flexibility of the new scheme can change this situation.
Step 3 cancel the exam
The senior high school entrance examination will be changed to the senior high school level examination. The examination subjects are Chinese, mathematics, foreign languages, ideology and politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology, information technology, general technology, etc. 1 1 required courses, which are taken twice a year in 1 and June respectively. Students take exams in the same subject for up to 2 times, and enter with the best results.
4. Charge tuition according to credits
Gradually implement the credit system in ordinary senior high schools, and divide tuition fees into two parts: registered tuition fees and credit tuition fees. The more credits you take, the more your tuition will be. In the 20 12-20 13 school year, some ordinary high schools will be selected for pilot projects. Strive to implement it in the whole province in the autumn of 20 14, and the cost is not higher than the existing cost.
