The idiom "Chengmen Sydney" is a household name. It comes from the story of Shi Yang, a famous philosopher in the Northern Song Dynasty.

Shi Yang, a native of Jiangle County, went to the village to study at the age of four, wrote poems at the age of seven and at the age of eight, so he was called a child prodigy. He studied classics at the age of fifteen and became a scholar in Xining for nine years. One year, on the way to Liuyang as a county magistrate, Shi Yang made a detour to Luoyang to meet the famous philosopher and educator Cheng Yi.

One day in winter, Shi Yang and his classmate You Zuo had different views on a certain problem, so they went to the teacher's house for advice. When they came to Cheng Yi's home in the cold wind, it happened that Mr. Shi Yang was sitting by the fire, meditating and resting. Afraid of disturbing the teacher, they stood respectfully outside the door, waiting for Mr. Wang to wake up. After a long time, Cheng Yi woke up and found Youzuo standing in the snow from the window. They were covered in snow.

Since then, the story of "Chengmen Sydney" has become a beautiful talk of respecting teachers and attaching importance to education forever.

4. Liu Zhuang, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty: Let go of the nine statues and respect the teachers.

During the reign of Liu Zhuang and Ming Di, the second emperors of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the official management was very clear and the territory was stable and unified.

Dr Huan Rong was the teacher of Emperor Han Ming when he was a prince, and Ming Di always respected this teacher very much. Later, he succeeded to the throne and became the emperor who respected Huan Rong as a teacher. On one occasion, Ming Di went to Taichang Mansion, where there was a teacher's desk and chair, so he asked the teacher Huan Rong to sit in the east, and called all the civil and military officials to pay tribute to the teachers and students on the spot. When Huan Rong was ill, Ming Di sent someone to offer condolences and even went to visit him personally.

When Huan Rong died, Ming Di also changed his clothes, attended the funeral in person and made proper arrangements for his children. Ming Di can put down his supreme position of "Nine Statues" to respect teachers, which shows his intentions and demeanor and is worth learning.

Lu Xun was a famous writer, thinker, critic and revolutionary in China, and the great man Mao Zedong called him "the commander-in-chief of the Cultural Revolution in China".

When Lu Xun was twelve years old, he went to San Tan Yin Yue and studied under Mr. Shou Jason Wu. Mr. Lu Xun has always respected Mr. Shou Jason Wu. 18 years old went to Nanjing to study. Whenever he goes back to Shaoxing during holidays, he always takes time to visit Mr. Shou Lao. From 1902 to 1909, Lu Xun went abroad to study. During these eight years, Lu Xun often wrote to Mr. Shou to report his study abroad.

1June, 906, Lu Xun returned to Shaoxing from Japan to marry Ms. Zhu An, and stayed in Shaoxing for only four days, but still made a special trip to visit Mr. Shoulao, who was over 60 years old.
