Specifically, what are the benefits of China's current education model?
Nowadays, the educational model in China must change from single to multi-dimensional, which is the general trend. Whether it is civilian education or elite education, general education or special education, basic education or higher education, vocational education or comprehensive education, traditional school education or network distance education, they should all develop in parallel. Parallel development is not a "hodgepodge" without primary and secondary. The following will explain the above categories respectively. I. Civilian Education and Elite Education In the past, the history of education in China was strictly a history of elite education. Undeniably, this elaborate education system has indeed created a group of cultural elites. But also because of its great introversion and closeness, it deprives or even stifles the possibility of more people becoming "elites". Behind a few "elites" is shocking ignorance and ignorance, which leads to a serious imbalance in the overall cultural structure of China. How to correct this inclination, civilian education is a prescription under such historical background and social needs. The educational model is inevitably branded with the times. If elite education is still useful in slave society, feudal society, colonial and semi-colonial society and even new democratic society, it will definitely not work in the period of capitalism and socialism. Today, with the globalization of economy and culture, it is even incompatible with the spirit of learning for all and keeping pace with the times. In the turbulent historical period and under the low-level social system, we can focus on elite education; In the historical period of peaceful development, under the higher social form, the pattern that civilian education is the mainstay, elite education is the supplement, and other forms of education are compatible and coexist is the right way for Yangguan. 2. Conventional education and special education For a long time, the most important educational model provided by educational institutions in China has been conventional education, which has become the absolute protagonist of our educational model, while other educational models in a subordinate supporting role are congenitally stunted. The singleness of education mode makes the current education in China stagnate. It is true that conventional education has played an irreplaceable role in cultivating talents on a large scale, but its tendency to pursue perfection excessively and ignore individual personality has also produced many negative effects. Conventional education takes examination as the means of assessment, the all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor as the evaluation standard, and the cultivation of "all-rounder" as the highest goal. "Three Good Students" has become the product with the most China characteristics under this value evaluation system. "Three good" is the best, but is it really "three good"? What is "good"? This book has different opinions, so it is more difficult to quantify. If we must quantify it, we must concentrate the three virtues of "morality, intelligence and physique" on one point, that is "intelligence". The simplification of the 100-point system determines everything, and high scores are equal to "three virtues", and schools, students and parents are happy. In this harmony, a large number of "versatile" mediocre people are released; In this harmony, Han Han raised an objection: remove the "Wang" under the word "generalist" and I want to be a talent! Abnormal sound is weak and harsh, but it is often the endorsement of sober reason. It breaks through the barriers of conformity and will surely open a new world. The real mission of formal education is to cultivate talents who can think and learn. This is the foundation of education. Because special education has been neglected for a long time, as a necessary supplementary form of regular education, it is a huge gap that needs to be filled urgently, and it is also the best footnote of "teaching students in accordance with their aptitude". Special education in a narrow sense seems to be the education of children with physical and mental defects and diseases. What I mean by special education is broad, that is, in addition to the groups included in the narrow sense, it also includes children with special or extraordinary potential in a certain aspect, and different education methods are given according to their actual situation. Humanism is the greatest embodiment in this field of education. How to guide and explore the greatest potential of this group of special children, create the most relaxed external environment for them, provide the widest space and freedom, and maximize the social value they create is an urgent problem for educators and teachers. 3. Basic education and higher education Basic education is a necessary stage of education, including preschool education, nine-year compulsory education and high school education. The span of at least fifteen years has far exceeded the "ten-year cold window" of ancient scholars. The long-term nature also indirectly leads to the phenomenon of younger enrollment in basic education. At present, in China, especially in rural areas, most people's study career has come to an end in the basic education stage, but there is no opportunity for higher education. Behind this situation is the synthesis of profound and complicated social, historical, political and economic factors. It is a long story that cannot be solved overnight, but we must face it squarely. In my humble opinion, the general reasons are as follows: 1. The imbalance of urban and rural economic base leads to the imbalance of superstructure and affects education. In other words, the relatively low national income makes the education expenditure appear relatively high, in short, it is poverty (especially in rural areas). 2. The closedness of the college entrance examination system. 3. The huge gap between the available hardware facilities (including institutions of higher learning, teaching facilities and teachers) and the demand. 4. The mode of running a school is relatively simple (institutions of higher learning are mainly run by the state, the legal system of running a school in society is not perfect, and the policy support is insufficient, which makes private schools have worries). The stage of higher education is the stage of receiving all education, and the proportion of a country's population receiving higher education to the total population is an important indicator to measure a country's per capita quality and overall national quality. However, our country is obviously promising in this respect, and enrollment expansion should be one of the "articles", but it is relatively passive. I want to say something beside the point here. This year, the government expanded the number of graduate students to 945,000. The increase in the number of people is a good thing, but the surge is abnormal. This is not to accuse the government of not expanding enrollment, just as I can't accuse the inventor of the overpass of solving the traffic congestion problem. However, talent is not a car after all, and enrollment expansion cannot fundamentally solve the problem of increasing candidates. Therefore, should the authorities in the education sector change their minds-the enemy will ban them, which may be able to cope with temporary emergencies, but it is always not as thorough as radical measures. Why is the number of people promoted to the postgraduate entrance examination soaring? I think the reason behind this is the "salary" to be taken, which should be the foundation of governance. Four. Vocational education and comprehensive education Vocational education is divided into secondary vocational education and higher vocational education. It is a new educational model that has just emerged in modern times. As early as 19 17, Huang Yanpei, together with Cai Yuanpei, Liang Qichao, Zhang Jian and Song, initiated and founded the China Vocational Education Society in Shanghai. This has become the starting point for creating and exploring the road of vocational education in China. I think one of the great achievements of Dewey's pragmatic education thought is vocational education. With the process of China's transformation from agriculture to industrialization, vocational education has become one of the most urgent educational models in China after compulsory education and higher education. For a long time in the future, it is expected to become a dark horse that keeps pace with non-vocational higher education, with considerable prospects. In recent years, some vocational schools in China began to learn from the experience of foreign vocational education, paying attention to the combination of vocational education and industrialization, and the combination of vocational schools and enterprises. Combining talent training with market demand, the goal of talent training is clear, which shows great superiority in realizing the social and economic value of talent employment. The social status and self-identity of vocational school graduates have been greatly improved. The promulgation of the Vocational Education Law and the promotion of national policies have promoted vocational education to enter a virtuous circle. However, the lack of humanistic spirit is a major injury to vocational education. Contrary to the "lack of quality and ability" of non-vocational college students, most vocational students are "lack of ability and quality". Educators should pay special attention to this point. Comprehensive education undoubtedly contributes to the systematization and perfection of knowledge system and structure. This educational model is usually adopted from primary school to high school (excluding non-vocational high schools). However, the limitations of majors in the university stage and the division of majors are too detailed. While emphasizing "professionalism", it largely cancels "comprehensiveness", thus completely opposing professionalism and comprehensiveness. However, comprehensive education is "green" because it can't go deep into higher education. How to unify professionalism and comprehensiveness, and how to lead comprehensive education to a higher level, is a major issue facing educators. Fifth, traditional school education and online distance education are really distant echoes of the sense of history and modernity, forming a sharp contrast between the old and the new. It has been thousands of years since Confucius founded a private school. How can people continue to move forward without regretting the lost years? The school has become a well-deserved transit point for spreading civilization and culture. With the continuous movement from one station to another, the civilized subway will be able to travel through time and space from the starting point to the endless end point, the torch of civilization will remain bright, and a single spark can start a prairie fire. Because of its special cultural mission, the school has become a symbol and humanistic landscape with unique cultural connotation. As an educational model with a long history and widely implemented, traditional school education has been deeply rooted in people's hearts. Especially from the perspective of "school is society", the collective life of school plays an extremely important and irreplaceable role in cultivating students' collective consciousness and interpersonal skills. However, with the increasing population, the explosion of knowledge and the arrival of the era of knowledge economy, and the improvement of people's thirst for knowledge, the disadvantages of school education, such as insufficient hardware facilities, limited space and uneven teacher level, have become increasingly prominent. With the rapid development of network electronic technology, network multimedia distance education has become another emerging educational model in modern society. Network multimedia education has many advantages that traditional school education does not have, such as greatly saving education cost, breaking the limitation of time and space to the maximum extent, optimizing the allocation of educational resources (especially teachers), and being more intuitive, timely and interactive. This is undoubtedly of subversive and innovative significance to traditional school education and will become an epoch-making event in the history of education. It will bring the spectacular scene of knowledge globalization on the basis of economic globalization, thus greatly promoting the civilization process of all mankind. Learning for all is no longer a dream; The whole world has become a huge school, and the huge classroom will no longer be a dream. It is foreseeable that the two will complement each other and be indispensable in the future. Conclusion of intransitive verbs From five aspects, I roughly combed the context of China's current education model from different angles. Finally, I want to mention quality education, lifelong education and self-study. If the above is the general way, then these three points are the specific purposes and ways. Quality is the fundamental purpose of education, and lifelong education is the deadline. Autonomous and voluntary learning is the most subjective self-education mode besides various objective modes. May the education in China embark on a road of modern education with China characteristics as soon as possible!
