Why should we develop minority language education?
I think the reasons are as follows:

First, reduce the sense of separation of ethnic minorities and enhance the sense of national identity.

Chinese education in some areas is backward, and some ethnic minorities who don't know Chinese characters will inevitably have the illusion that we are different, which strengthens the sense of estrangement between regions and weakens the sense of mutual identity. For example, at present, there is no voice of ethnic minorities on the Internet. Over time, all regions will fall into a situation of old age and death, and there will be no familiarity with each other. The common culture is an unbreakable bond. No matter how many separatist forces there are in China in the past five thousand years, no matter how serious the separatist forces are, they can always merge, and the common language and culture are extremely important reasons.

Second, language is the most basic propaganda tool.

The "minority" of ethnic minorities is relative. For example, Kazakhs are a minority in China, but they are the main body in Kazakhstan; Mongolian is a minority in China, but it is the main body outside Mongolia. If China does not develop minority language education, this language will become a negative propaganda tool. In fact, the influence of outer Mongolia on the people in Inner Mongolia is much greater than we thought. Propaganda is the battlefield. If we don't go up, the position will be taken by others. Language is the most basic propaganda tool. Before there was no national column on China's identity cards, and when Mongolians were still naming and speaking in Mongolian, giving up Mongolian education meant giving up maintaining national security. Even Han people should take the initiative to learn minority languages. If many Han people can speak Uighur, how can toxic textbooks be poisoned for more than ten years?

Thirdly, a nation's language, accompanied by poetry and music, is meaningful in art and a rich research sample in linguistics and phonology.

If you want to understand Tantric Buddhism and the difference between Han Chuan and Tibetan, you must learn Tibetan. In order to understand the relationship between Mongolian ministries, Aohantu Mochahar must always learn Mongolian; When listening to Vietnamese and Cantonese, you will find that many pronunciations of Zhuang language are similar. To understand human society and human history, all languages are unique carriers. The boundary of language is vague, and minority languages are also important research materials to understand the history of Chinese.
