Finally, religious and cultural values also have a certain impact on sex education. There are some conservative parents, religious groups or cultural traditions in China society. They believe that sex education may lead to children's behavior inconsistent with traditional values. This makes them unwilling to take the initiative to have sex education with their children, fearing that their children may have wrong ideas or behaviors.
Although parents' avoidance of sex education in China is based on the comprehensive influence of many factors, with the progress of society and the reform of education, more and more parents begin to realize the importance of sex education and gradually accept and actively participate in their children's sex education.
