1997 —— During his tenure as the principal of Liaoning Experimental Middle School in 2006, he adhered to the school-running philosophy of "people-oriented, harmonious development, reform and innovation" and led the faculty to comprehensively promote quality education. He formulated the five-year development plan of the school, established the running direction of "four highs, three specialties, two harmonies and four beauties" and established the training goal of "facing all, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, developing in an all-round way and having their own specialties". The teaching principle of "learning, learning and innovation" was put forward, which was highly praised by Premier Li Lanqing of the State Council and Minister of Education Chen Zhili when they visited the school. He directed the establishment of the Institute of Creation and Invention to cultivate students' interest, thinking, emotion and perseverance in innovation.
