I am a graduate of 17 majoring in educational technology. It's almost three years since I graduated, and I've changed three jobs.
When I first graduated, I didn't want to be a teacher at all, so I didn't plan to take the teacher exam at all. It is not easy to find a job in a small place, mainly because I don't know what I want to do and what I can do. I have been looking for it for about half a month, and I am doing educational affairs in a training institution. At that time, I didn't know what educational administration was. I thought that just like at school, I stayed in the office to read and write materials every day, but it turned out to be quite different from what I expected. Every day's work is to inspect every teacher and student in class, record their learning status and progress, receive visiting parents, fill in, collect and analyze students' information, and occasionally play the role of customer service, call to sell courses and invite people to sign up for remedial classes.
I don't like selling all the time. Of course, I'm not that material. In addition, the principal at that time was very evil and youthful, which was particularly unbearable. The idea of leaving his job is on the rise. In addition, some teachers were recruited at that time, and when I saw that there were schools recruiting teachers in the group, I signed up for the interview. I guess I was really in a hurry to get important people near the start of school, so I passed. So I quit my job in the training institution. I had just rented a house and had not lived in it for a month. Because I left early, I had a bad time with the landlord and left without asking for a deposit. Of course, I don't want to come back. Hard-pressed renters ~ ~ ~
I haven't been a teacher at school for long. I only taught for one semester and left. The school was very good, ranking in the top five in the urban area, but I really couldn't stand the environment and atmosphere at that time. More importantly, I feel that I am not qualified to teach those children, which is quite misleading (strong sense of inferiority). Plus information technology, no matter from schools or students, no one attaches importance to it. Students are so active in class only because they can play computers and games, and the school offers this course only because of national regulations. After staying for a semester, I resolutely left my job. A person came to Shenzhen and worked as a copywriter in an online education company. Until now, I am now ready to change careers.
Let's talk about where most people in this major graduated. At that time, there were more than 40 people in our class, and more than 30 people took postgraduate examinations, all of whom had master's degrees, but most of them were related to educational technology. As far as I know, most students who graduated from the postgraduate entrance examination are also information technology teachers in primary and secondary schools, but some students have switched to formal teachers, depending on their abilities and interests.
There are many people who change careers like me, depending on what you like or are good at. The main problem is that most of the problems that exist now are that I don't know what I like and what I can do, and I feel like I can do everything.
After graduation, there are two directions, one is postgraduate entrance examination and the other is work (if the family is not particularly good and just want to avoid looking for a job, postgraduate entrance examination is not recommended ~ ~).
If you work, you can consider the popular new media operation. If you are interested in this direction, it is ok to learn programming code as a programmer. At school, you also learned C language, Java, data structure and so on. Of course, you just scratch the surface, and you still need to learn by yourself ~ ~
If you want to engage in education but don't want to be a teacher, you can consider teaching design-related work, such as copywriting editor, teaching designer and curriculum development post.
Anime, video and photography lovers are also a good way out. Work, in short, is to sell your time to gain value. You are not afraid of hardship, fatigue, study, and you will never be short of work. What you are afraid of is not knowing what to do every day. After shouting, continue to lie down and play with your mobile phone to brush the video. Let's get started! ! What's the use of just thinking! ! ! No matter what you do to get yourself moving, bend down to pick up the pie!
