Du's celebrity effect
During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, Du people migrated to Fujian and Guangdong, and in the Qing Dynasty, some migrated to and some further migrated overseas.

After thousands of years of reproduction, the Du family has spread all over the country. In particular, the Du family in Jingzhao (now northeast Shaanxi), Hanyang (now north of the Yangtze River in Hubei) and Nanyang (now Nanyang in Henan) is the most prosperous.
