Reading lyric prose can let my mood fly; Reading a wonderful novel can banish my fantasy; After reading the book Back to the Origin, I have mixed feelings. While absorbing the essence of the book, I also reflect on my own works.

In addition to talking about the soul of education and how to protect children's childhood, the book also analyzes the common phenomena existing in current education to warn us that it is really worth reading as educators. Among them, there are several points that I understand most.

First of all, when talking about the topic of defending childhood, Lin He thinks that the present school is divorced from the essence of education and has utilitarian behavior. I think the evaluation of education is complicated, so it is inevitable to evaluate the school in the form of appraisal, competition and examination. Moreover, with the fierce social competition, it is a last resort for schools to have room for survival and development and meet the requirements of society. But the problem is that as educators, we should act according to our conscience. Based on the concept of teaching and educating people, we should not only preach, teach and dispel doubts, but also pay attention to the cultivation of students' moral quality. Students should not be regarded as machines to make good grades, and students should not be regarded as cash cows to get bonuses. I believe that there will be no utilitarian relationship in our education.

In today's society, although the material life has reached an unprecedented height, today's children have no worries about food and clothing, and because most of them are only children, they get wind and rain at home. Not only are they lazy in their living habits, they actually lack a lot of things in their minds than children in the past. In fact, this is a distorted education trapped by utilitarianism. Now it is not difficult to find that some young people are often reported in the news to kill people because of quarrels; The rich second generation drunk driving and hit people and drove away; Some rich people say that money can solve problems and so on. Therefore, we sigh: Why are people getting more and more rude now? This reflects on whether we have done the best moral education for students. As engineers of human soul, teachers should not only educate students in rigid subjects, but also wash their souls and reshape their spirits.

Secondly, efforts should be made to restore students' freedom. The book points out rudely that personal freedom is the freedom of education that China has seriously neglected. Children's physical interests should not be sacrificed for any distant purpose, and children should not be tired at the expense of their joy, games and communication needs. But sometimes when we reflect on ourselves, we will make this mistake intentionally or unintentionally. Sometimes it is because of grasping the evaluation practice progress that the class is delayed, sometimes it is because of the danger that the activity time is reduced, sometimes it is because of the fire that the students are scolded to pieces, and sometimes it is even practiced repeatedly to master the knowledge. These are all depriving students of their freedom and destroying this young life. As educators, only by recognizing that these are all wrong behaviors can we know how to care for our students and carry out education better.

Third, according to children's personality characteristics, teach students in accordance with their aptitude. Ma Wei, a reporter from Beijing TV Station, gave a representative example of Sarah, an international student. We assign homework now, regardless of children's abilities and characteristics, but considering the convenience of correcting ourselves, we will unify our homework across the board. In fact, if you think about it carefully, it is a kind of torture for students who have spare capacity for learning, because they have to do it again after mastering it. Therefore, sometimes we should learn to arrange homework flexibly and arrange homework at different levels according to the students' reality, so as to achieve the effect of motivation.

But there are two sides to the story. I'm conservative about the idea that letting children learn actively is to cultivate students' personality. Although our classroom requires students to sit straight in class, which somewhat suppresses students' freedom, for a teaching class with a large number of students, at least the attendance rate of students can be guaranteed, and teaching can be carried out as planned. At the same time, it is also a way to cultivate students' understanding of norms. If individual active students are allowed to study while playing, because they are not strong in self-control, they can not only cultivate their personality, but also learn basic knowledge. So I still pay attention to cultivating students' classroom discipline and sitting posture, which is the basis of learning.

Old people and old people, young people and young people, the articles selected in the book, the quotations and even the cited examples are all good. As an educator, we should realize that our working object is innocent children, and the task of education is not only to impart knowledge and cultivate personality, but also to care for humanity. Only by teaching other people's children as their own can we think for them personally.

I don't know how to decorate with gorgeous words, nor can I express it with figurative rhetoric. I just use plain words to express my deepest experience after reading this book. As a teacher, I hope to bring my students back to the origin of education-both teaching and educating people; Learn both knowledge and life.
