The oldest university in South Korea has now trained 223,000 students and enrolled about 40,000 students. Yonsei University was founded in 1885. Its predecessor was Yonsei University, Guanghui College and Lance Medical College of Expo. In June, 1957, 1, Yan Xi University and Lance Medical College of Expo formally merged to form Yonsei University. Yonsei University is the first school in Korea to exchange international students.
