Liu Peiqi's Educational Thought
In recent years, Liu Peiqi devoted himself to calligraphy education and trained young calligraphers.

Teacher Liu Peiqi believes that students should be taught with "heart", not with their existing status and reputation. The students addressed him as a "teacher". What he should pay attention to is how to assume the solemn title of "teacher" and how to sincerely thank his students and their parents. In his mind, students are his days. His belief in mankind is to be like what he has done. He pays attention to the dignity of teachers. Therefore, in his usual teaching life, he warned students and parents not to accept the relationship between teachers and students, but only to adhere to the relationship between support and being supported, and the relationship between teaching and being taught. This concept has nothing to do with elegance and vulgarity, but it has a fundamental relationship with whether he can teach a child well. This is also an extremely accurate and excellent interpersonal relationship of China's traditional concept for thousands of years. Without this basic concept, he thinks there is no real teacher-student relationship. Only in this way can he be competent and devoted to teaching his students well.

In class, he put forward the idea of "study hard, write hard and be a good person" to students, which was supported by parents. It also has a great effect on students. He believes that teaching and learning learn from each other, and the feedback from students inspires him greatly, prompting him to guide students in a better way. Through continuous summing-up and thinking, his calligraphy education gradually improved and developed steadily. But in any case, his educational philosophy and sincere dedication will not change.

As Chen Kexi, his close friend and expert in ancient books, wrote, "He not only teaches students in accordance with their aptitude, but also pays more attention to the personality cultivation of young people." He treated his students with care and trained a large number of outstanding young calligraphers with the old saying that "a teacher must be rational, righteous and respectful". He used to be a calligraphy teacher in Yang Jing Middle School and Luhang Middle School. In 2009, he was hired as a guidance consultant by the Painting and Calligraphy Association of Fudan University. Because of his outstanding achievements in calligraphy teaching, he was awarded "Shanghai Excellent Calligraphy Instructor" by Shanghai Calligraphers Association for five consecutive years.
