The textbooks are densely printed with promotional materials of various English products, and there are also pre-sales and after-sales service telephones for Renai English products all over Guangdong. Therefore, Renai English had to be removed from the shelves to rectify the content. Renai English was successfully established by Beijing Renai Education Research Institute in March, 2002 in the Ministry of Education according to the English Curriculum Standards. It was first submitted to the Ministry of Education for examination and approval in September 2003.
