Brief introduction of Shanghai science and technology art education center
Shanghai Science and Technology Art Education Center (Shanghai Student Activity Management Center) is a public institution directly under the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. Its predecessor is Shanghai Youth Science and Technology Education Center (formerly Shanghai Shaoke Station) and Shanghai Art Education Center. Among them, Shanghai Youth Science and Technology Education Center was established in June 1957, which is one of the earliest off-campus science and technology education institutions in China. In April 2008, it was renamed, and a new system of management, guidance, coordination and service for extracurricular activities of teenagers in the city was formed, which integrates moral education, science and technology, art, sports and health. There are 70 teaching and administrative staff, among which senior teachers account for nearly 40% of the total number of teachers.
