The Ministry of Education advocates
In recent years, campus violence, illegal behavior and other problems have occurred from time to time, which has seriously affected the healthy growth of students and campus safety. In order to maintain the educational order, the Ministry of Education has defined three types of educational punishment, promoting the implementation of school rules and regulations, strengthening campus management and protecting students' rights and interests.

The first kind of educational punishment: verbal warning

Verbal warning is the slightest educational punishment, which is usually used for some minor violations, such as being late, truancy, and not obeying school rules. Teachers should pay attention to the following points when implementing verbal warnings:

1. Pay attention to the wording when warning, neither too harsh nor too gentle, so that students can realize their mistakes;

2. Record it in time after warning, in case of emergency;

3. Follow up the warning in time to see if the students have corrected their mistakes.

The second kind of educational punishment: written warning

Written warning is a more severe educational punishment than verbal warning, which is usually used for some serious violations, such as fighting and bullying others. Teachers should pay attention to the following points when implementing written warnings:

1. The warning shall specify the specific illegal circumstances and consequences;

2. The warning book shall be signed and sealed, and the parents of the students shall be informed;

3. Warnings should be kept in students' files in case of emergency.

The third kind of educational punishment: demerit recording.

Recording a demerit is a more severe educational punishment than a written warning, which is usually used for some serious violations, such as plagiarism, cheating, drug abuse and so on. Teachers should pay attention to the following points when recording demerits:

1. The decision to record a demerit must be approved by the school leaders and informed to the parents of the students;

2. The demerit decision shall specify the specific circumstances and consequences of the violation;

3. Decided to keep the demerit in the students' files in case of emergency;

4. The execution time of the demerit decision should be clear, usually one semester or one academic year.
