First of all, we should be good at learning and constantly improve our ideological and professional quality. Learning is a cliche. Nowadays, knowledge and information are constantly updated, which puts forward new and higher requirements for our discipline inspection work and the quality of discipline inspection and supervision cadres. Facing the new situation and new tasks, our discipline inspection cadres can't stay at the original knowledge level. Through further study, participate in various business training courses, get out of study, broaden your knowledge horizons and improve your work level and business ability. Every discipline inspection and supervision cadre should constantly strengthen the study of political theory, learn Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and Theory of Three Represents well, deeply understand their rich connotations, arm their minds with scientific theories, and guide the work of building a clean and honest party style. At the same time, we should strengthen the study of economy, finance, science and technology, laws and regulations, history and literature, computer network and other knowledge, and learn all the outstanding achievements of civilization created by mankind. Through comprehensive study, lay a solid foundation of political theory and professional knowledge, and constantly improve theoretical cultivation, cultural and professional quality and work level.

At present, it is necessary to study the Regulations on Inner-Party Supervision (for Trial Implementation), the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions and the Implementation Outline of Establishing and Perfecting the System of Punishing and Preventing Corruption with Equal Attention to Education, System and Supervision in combination with the activities of "Being the Intimate Person of the Masses and the Loyal Guardian of the Party", and guide the work with the latest theoretical achievements. We should focus on the theoretical thinking of practical problems, study problems and find answers in theoretical thinking. In particular, it is necessary to thoroughly study how to implement the policy of treating both the symptoms and the root causes in the new period, gradually increase the intensity of tackling the root causes, pay close attention to the "education" of cadres in accordance with the requirements of new party constitution, and strive to fundamentally put an end to corruption.

Second, be diligent and pragmatic, and be a practical person. Diligence is the minimum requirement of the party and the people for a discipline inspection and supervision cadre. A person who is not diligent in politics, a person who has no ambition and no sense of responsibility is an incompetent cadre. A diligent cadre, regardless of his position, can achieve something as long as he makes selfless dedication. The work of building a clean and honest government is related to the rise and fall of our party. As a discipline inspection cadre, his work is not solid, and he can't achieve political achievements, which is also a manifestation of negative corruption. Since we have reached this position, we must do our best to make tangible achievements, and really do our job, seek political affairs and do our duty with a high sense of political responsibility and dedication. While being diligent, we should seek truth from facts. As we all know, the most important ideological style of discipline inspection and supervision cadres is seeking truth from facts. We can neither praise nor criticize the anti-corruption situation, nor exaggerate or shrink it. We should correctly analyze and treat it correctly. According to different situations, carry out corresponding educational activities. In educational activities, we should be down-to-earth, not going through the motions and not taking the form. Treat it differently, treat it differently, so as to ensure tangible results. It is the duty of discipline inspection and supervision cadres to establish and improve a system of punishing and preventing corruption that pays equal attention to education and supervision. To do this well, we must start from the source, improve the system and mechanism, and find the starting point of the work. It is not our party's expectation to do a good job in discipline inspection and supervision by investigating only a few people. What the Party organization expects is to require every party member cadre to abide by party constitution in an exemplary manner, conscientiously implement the Party's rules and regulations, become a truly qualified communist fighter, and make the Party's ranks become the vanguard of the proletariat that the people love. Now, why is corruption still repeated? It is because the beliefs of individual leading cadres have gone wrong. Personally, I think it is necessary to standardize the Party's organization, purify the ranks of party member, and establish and improve a set of practical learning and education systems. We should continue to educate leading cadres at all levels in party member on communism, establish a correct outlook on life, values and world outlook, and earnestly establish the consciousness of serving the people and the concept of the masses from the deep heart, and never stay on the surface or verbally.

Third, we should keep pace with the times and enhance our sense of innovation. We often say that innovation is the soul of a nation's progress and an inexhaustible motive force for the country's prosperity. The new situation in the new era puts forward new requirements for discipline inspection and supervision. As a cadre of discipline inspection and supervision, we should dare to break through the shackles and influences of traditional concepts and mindset, consciously emancipate our ideological concepts from outdated concepts, systems and practices, constantly strengthen our sense of innovation, face new practices, persist in innovating discipline inspection in inheritance, develop discipline inspection in innovation, and constantly improve the pertinence and effectiveness of anti-corruption work. According to the requirements of the "Four Innovations" put forward by the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, discipline inspection and supervision cadres should be pragmatic and resourceful, have a leap-forward thinking mode, strive to create a new situation in discipline inspection and supervision, persist in emancipating their minds and seeking truth from facts, and find, analyze and solve problems with innovative thinking, development vision and professional perspective, especially in the aspects of source corrosion prevention, corruption control, case analysis, system establishment and improvement.

Fourth, be strict with yourself and be a model of obeying the law. The Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC Central Committee has put forward "four disciplines and eight requirements" for leading cadres, and the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection has put forward "Twelve Articles on Honest Politics". These requirements are concrete, honest and clean, which are the most basic requirements put forward by the party and the people for our discipline inspection and supervision cadres. First, indifferent to fame and fortune, willing to contribute. Keep in mind the "two musts", be poor, endure loneliness, resist temptation and control details. Not bound by fame, not tired of things, not happy by fame, not sad by loss, not driven by profit, not confused by wealth, not confused by color. Honest and clean, hard work, clean politics. Resolutely obey the organizational arrangements, do not adjust "fat" to "thin", and do any work without complaint. Second, we should control our behavior "beyond eight hours". Social activities "beyond eight hours" must not be ignored. The special status of discipline inspection and supervision cadres determines the necessity of moderation. Today, it is an era of materialistic desires. Every cadre of discipline inspection and supervision should always pay attention to proper limit and draw a warning line in thought and action. We should be cautious again. After eight hours, leave the unit, stay away from the organization, be unsupervised, never forget that you are a law enforcer, and consciously use the party discipline and state law to restrain and supervise yourself. People often say: "Needle holes, fight strong winds"; "Don't use small evils, don't use small goodness". We should focus on the overall situation, start with small things, beware of procrastination, alarm bells ringing, consciously do things we shouldn't think about, eat what we should, take what we should, go where we shouldn't, and don't make friends we shouldn't. Be a "sensible person" politically, an "innocent person" economically and a "decent person" in style.
