Beihai municipal government portal was officially opened in September, 1999, formerly known as "Beihai municipal government public information network", and changed to "China Beihai" government portal (www.beihai.gov.cn) in 2005, which was hosted by Beihai municipal people's government and undertaken by Beihai municipal government information network management center.
Institutional responsibility:
Adhere to the people-oriented design concept, take the promotion of information disclosure, public participation and online service as the strategic goal, focus on convenience service, actively explore new methods and measures for government website construction, continuously enrich the channels for public participation in government websites, and further improve the online service system.
At present, the portal website of Beihai Municipal Government has established eight sections, more than 100 main columns and more than 100 sub-websites, which has become an important window for Beihai Municipal Government to publicize Beihai externally and serve the public internally.
