Does hard pen calligraphy use a pen?
A pen for calligraphy.

Pens can write better strokes and make the written words look better. Pens, like brushes, can better show the charm of Chinese characters. For those who learn hard-pen calligraphy, it is easier for pens to master the use, structure and composition of Chinese characters, which is beneficial to writing other hard-pen calligraphy.

It is not necessary to practice hard pen calligraphy with a pen. For beginners of hard pen calligraphy, the pen is difficult to control, and it is easy to pierce the paper if the force is too strong, and the effect of practice can not be achieved if the force is too light; Moreover, pens leak ink easily, which makes stationery and even clothes dirty.

Therefore, when they study, they usually use pencils, which are not only convenient to carry, but also convenient to write, which is convenient for children to correct. At present, the most widely used pen in society should be water-based pen, which combines the characteristics of ballpoint pen and pen, is convenient to carry and writes full words. So it's ok to practice calligraphy with this pen without it.

Pen type difference:

First, the golden pen.

The nib is made of gold alloy, which is soft, elastic and comfortable. But the gold pen is expensive, soft and difficult to master, so it is not suitable for beginners.

Second, the iridium pen.

The nib does not contain gold, and it is partially gilded. The nib is hard, but it is cheap and good. It is a tool suitable for beginners to write. The reason why gold nib and iridium nib are more durable than pen nib lies in the small round particles on the pen nib. This small round particle is made of iridium ruthenium alloy, which is very hard and wear-resistant.

According to the experiment of Shanghai Jinxing Gold Pen Factory, if the gold pen tip and the steel pen tip are put on the oilstone for grinding at the same time, after one hour, the wear of the gold pen tip is only 0.07 mm, while the wear of the steel pen tip is as high as 5 mm. Although the price is quite different, the iridium particles of the pen tip are all special alloys of iridium and ruthenium. The reason why the smoothness is so different is that the grinding method and fineness are different.

So in a sense, the gold pen and the iridium pen are the same. But the material and feel are different, which leads to the price gap.

Third, the ink bag pen.

The ink bag pen does not need to absorb ink, but it can be used by inserting a special ink bag.
