Relying on the resource advantages of Beijing Normal University in the national education field, we will organize and coordinate the scientific research forces of all relevant units and fields in the country, build a team of full-time and part-time experts, guide all localities to carry out basic education quality monitoring while implementing the national basic education quality monitoring work, and promote the gradual establishment of a national basic education quality monitoring network.

According to the actual situation and basic national conditions of China's basic education and drawing lessons from the experience of international basic education quality monitoring, at this stage we monitor the quality of China's basic education from six aspects:
1, students' ideological and moral character and civic quality. Monitor the ideological and moral qualities and civic qualities of students in the basic education stage, such as self-esteem, law-abiding, honesty and trustworthiness, environmental protection, active participation in public welfare activities and social responsibility.
2. Students' physical and mental health level. Monitor students' physical health status such as body shape, function, quality, physical exercise and personal hygiene habits, and also monitor students' mood, will quality, personal behavior habits, communication and cooperation with others.
3. Students' academic level and learning quality. Monitor the academic level of students in all subjects in the basic education stage, and also monitor students' learning interests, learning habits and learning methods.
4. Students' artistic accomplishment. Monitor students' interest, aesthetic taste, artistic appreciation and expression ability in participating in artistic activities in the basic education stage.
5. Students' practical ability and innovative consciousness. Monitor students' hands-on ability, ability to apply what they have learned, and innovative consciousness and ability in basic education.
6. The educational and social environment that affects students' development. From the students' family environment, teachers, schools, courses and other school environments, as well as the macro-social and economic environment related to basic education, we can monitor the relevant factors affecting students' development.
