School profile, Tianjin Vocational Secondary School: Tianjin Vocational Secondary School was founded in September, 1984. Its predecessor was Tianjin No.4 Middle School. 1992 school was recognized as a provincial key vocational school by the provincial people's government, and 1996 was recognized as a national key vocational high school by the State Education Commission. 1999, after adjustment and re-evaluation, the school was once again recognized as a national key vocational high school by the Ministry of Education. In August, 2002, Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government established Tianjin Vocational Education Group with vocational secondary schools as the leader, which made the school move towards the road of collectivization development.
