Since 1985, College of International Education of Liaoning Normal University has received and trained more than 12000 overseas China students from nearly 30 countries and regions. Many students have played an important role in diplomatic, economic, trade and cultural exchanges around the world.

By the end of 20 1 1, there were more than 30 international students 1000, including more than 200 graduate students and undergraduates, and 800 international students were awarded scholarships by the government of China.
