Unified undergraduate enrollment in colleges and universities refers to the national enrollment plan for full-time colleges and universities according to the national enrollment plan compiled by the Ministry of Education and the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) (the enrollment plan is controlled within 5% of the total number of graduates of full-time colleges and universities in all provinces). Colleges and universities in all provinces uniformly announce the number of students enrolled and the examinations organized by provincial administrative departments, select outstanding college graduates to participate in the unified examinations organized by the Provincial Education Examinations Institute in the next semester of the third grade before graduation (some provinces issue papers to undergraduate schools), and enter undergraduate colleges to continue regular undergraduate education according to their original majors or related majors.
In some provinces, such as Hebei Province, it is called the special edition of ordinary colleges and universities (selected through undergraduate education examination), Jiangsu Province, it is called the special edition of ordinary colleges and universities (selecting outstanding junior college students to transfer to undergraduate study), Guangdong Province, it is called the special edition of ordinary colleges and universities (enrolling undergraduates in ordinary colleges and universities), and the rest provinces are called the special edition of ordinary colleges and universities.
