Peking Union Medical College, located in Beijing, is a national key university directly under the National Health and Wellness Commission of People's Republic of China (PRC), and implements a unified management system with China Academy of Medical Sciences. It is a national "double-first-class" construction university, and has been selected as a member of the excellent doctoral education and training plan and the medical "double-first-class" construction alliance. ?

The school, formerly known as Concord Medical College, was founded by the American and British Christian churches in 1906. 19 12, renamed Union Medical College. 19 17, Peking union medical college was established. 19 19, renamed Peking Union Medical College. 1929, renamed private Peking Union Medical College. 195 1 year 1 month, the school was taken over by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health of the Central People's Government and renamed as China Union Medical College. After inheritance and development, the school has been renamed as China Medical University, China Capital Medical University and Peking Union Medical College. In 2006, it was named Peking Union Medical College.

According to the school official website in May 2023, the school has 19 research institutes, 6 affiliated hospitals, 9 colleges and 106 off-campus R&D institutions. At present, there are 26 academicians of the two academies, 45 national outstanding scholars, 27 leading talents in the 10,000-person plan, doctoral supervisors 1032, and master supervisors 123 1 person.
