Pingshan county is located in the west of our province, at the east foot of Taihang Mountain, 26 kilometers away from Shijiazhuang, and there is a first-class highway that meets the Beijing-Shijiazhuang and Shitai expressways. Pingshan has a long history and beautiful scenery. On the land of 2648 square kilometers, there are more than 300 natural landscapes, such as strange peaks, caves, forests, grasslands, rivers and lakes, waterfalls and hot springs. There are more than 200 national, provincial and county-level key cultural relics protection units with various types and high grades. In recent years, after large-scale development and construction, a large-scale tourist area pattern with hot spring resorts as the center and Tiangui Mountain, Tuoliang Mountain, Xibaipo, Zhongshan Old Capital Site and Tiantai Mountain as the backbone has been initially formed.

Tuoliang

Located in the northwest of Pingshan County, it is 50 km away from Shijiazhuang/KLOC-0 and only 45km away from Wutai Mountain. The main peak is the boundary peak of Pingshan, Fuping and Wutai counties, with an altitude of 228 1 m, which is one of the five highest peaks in Hebei Province. Tuoliang is the only terrain formed by ancient metamorphic rocks in Taihang Mountain 520 kilometers away. Genting grassland is unique to Pingshan Tuoliang Scenic Area, with lush green grass, fragrant flowers, misty clouds and unique customs.

In May, there were camellias and ice waterfalls everywhere. The Mid-Autumn camel beam is colorful and the red leaves are fragrant; In winter, it is wrapped in silver and carved with ice. The most attractive thing is the cool summer climate. The average temperature in July is only 18.9℃, and the four seasons are like autumn, enjoying the reputation of "cool polar region" for a long time.

mount tiangui

Tiangui Mountain is the first batch of provincial-level scenic spots in our province. The territory is a rare typical karst landform in the north, with many strange caves and springs, lush trees and misty clouds. Tiangui Mountain consists of eight scenic spots, including Qinglongguan, Xuanwu Peak, Wanghaishan and Yinhe Cave. Qinglong Taoist Temple, built on the mountain, is an ancient architectural complex integrating politics and religion. This used to be the secluded palace of Emperor Chongzhen. After Chongzhen hanged Jingshan Park, the eunuch who specialized in the palace changed it into a Taoist temple. After 300 years of continuous expansion and repair, it has become a famous Taoist holy place in the north, which was called "Wudang in the North" in ancient times. The Taihang Mountain Taoist Association, which was just established this year, invited Master You Xuande, Chairman of Wudang Mountain International Tai Ji Chuan League, as its president, which injected new cultural connotations into the scenic spot. In addition, the film "White-haired Girl" was shot in Tiangui Mountain, where there is a white-haired girl cave; The word "Gui" carved on the cliff has been recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. The newly built stone forest on the top of the mountain is a great wonder in the north.

Xibaipo

It is one of the five revolutionary memorial sites in China, located in Pingshan County. It used to be the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the People's Liberation Army, where the CPC Central Committee and Chairman Mao commanded the three major battles of Liaoshen, Huaihai and Ping Jin, which shocked China and foreign countries, and held the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee of the Party with great historical significance. Now Xibaipo is surrounded by water on three sides, with blue waves, green pines and cypresses and beautiful scenery.

Xibaipo Mudan Garden and Xibaipo Warning Education Base

They are all located in Xibaipo Forest Park, only 2.5 kilometers away from Xibaipo Memorial Hall. Peony Garden covers an area of more than 300 mu, with varieties of 1 10. Every year in the middle and late April, 30,000 peonies compete for beauty, which is very spectacular. It has become another peony viewing place in northern China after Heze and Luoyang. The warning education base covers an area of 29,330 square meters with a building area of 3,070 square meters. Zhongshan ancient capital site

It is a large-scale ancient cultural site, the capital of Sun Yat-sen 2,300 years ago, and a national key cultural relic protection unit. There are cultural relics 13 in the site, including palace area, residential area, pottery field, smelting field, ancient city wall, and tomb group of Zhongshan king, covering an area of 55 square kilometers. The cultural relics unearthed from the site of Zhongshan Kingdom are magnificent, unique in shape and exquisite, and are world-renowned.

Gunlonggou

As the hometown of Wang Erxiao, a young hero in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Jinchaji Daily, the predecessor of People's Daily, once lived here, and Yang Kaihui's niece Yang Zhan also died here. From 1950s to 1970s, Gunlonggou was a famous Hongqi Village in China. Today, the historical sites are ancient, the mountains and rivers are beautiful and the scenery is charming.
