Changsha, also known as Xingcheng, is a prefecture-level city, provincial capital and megacity under the jurisdiction of Hunan Province, an important central city in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, and a central city of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration approved by the State Council. By the end of 202 1, the whole city had six municipal districts, 1 county and two county-level cities, with a total area of 1 18 19 square kilometers, a built-up area of 56,732 square kilometers [5] and a total resident population of/kloc-0.
