Recently, Jiang, executive deputy secretary of the Education Working Committee of Qingdao Municipal Committee, party secretary and director of the Municipal Education Bureau, said in an interview that in 2023, the Municipal Education Bureau will implement the "three major action plans" of doubling the quality resources of basic education, innovative development of vocational education and integrated development of higher education, accelerate the construction of a quality education system, comprehensively improve the quality of personnel training, and strive to run a satisfactory education for the people.

Implementing the three-year action plan of doubling the quality resources of basic education is still the focus of Qingdao Education this year. Affected by the two-child policy, Qingdao will usher in the peak of enrollment next year. Our city will actively meet the challenges, speed up the construction, renovation and expansion of kindergartens in primary and secondary schools, and the supply of places will be fully guaranteed.

By 2024, there will be no less than 100 primary and secondary schools in the city. This year, we will focus on the high-level development of new schools, equip the new schools with principals and teachers in advance by means of projects and lists, and at the same time focus on the way of "one long school and many schools" to build the new schools into a good school in a short time.
