What educational and historical attractions are worth visiting in Chongqing?
When it comes to Chongqing's most educational historical attractions, it is of course the "muck cave".

I don't know how many people still remember the article "The Story of Radish Head" in the primary school textbook, where the Radish Head Family was held. The film and television dramas "Fire Youth", "Red Rock" and "Jiang Jie" also tell about the "darkness before dawn" that happened in Zhazidong.

"Failure to paste loess, success to help the people." When I saw these two small poems carved on the wall in Bai Mansion, I was shocked. This is the last words left by General Zhou when he was detained in Zhazidong concentration camp, and it is also the best summary of the tenacious fighting spirit of more than 300 revolutionary martyrs held here to create a new China.

In fact, I was not interested in this red tourist attraction before, but after visiting it, I have a new understanding of this spirit of fearless sacrifice for my family and country.

Tour route of Geleshan concentration camp: Baigongguan-Zhazidong-Hongyan Soul Exhibition Hall-Martyrs' Tomb

bai mansion

Bai Mansion was originally a "Xiangshan Villa" purchased by Dai Li, and was later transformed into a prison for revolutionaries. Unlike Zazidong, Bai Mansion holds political prisoners who are considered "serious" by the military.

The scenery here is very good, green everywhere, and there is a mountain spring winding down. It's a pity that such a beautiful scenery is a purgatory on earth.

The white mansion is actually not big. It is a two-story blue brick building, located halfway up the mountain. You need to climb the steps to get in and out of the scenic gate.

On the right hand side of the door is a bronze statue of radish head. When he was a baby, he and his parents were kept here. Because of malnutrition, yellow face and yellow muscles, it is called radish head.

Radish head died with everyone a few days before the liberation of Chongqing. Under the bronze statue are flowers dedicated to him by everyone. Next to the bronze statue is a small house, above which is the secret service office, and the warehouse below is transformed into a dungeon. Although it is not open now, there is a small opening on the door. Looking in, you can see the dark grottoes that are only one person high, and there is evil wind blowing from the room.

There are two things that shocked me.

The first one is the poem carved on the wall mentioned above, which is located in the small room behind the lobby on the first floor. On the other side is the "five-star red flag" made by all the staff of the prison, which is located in the left room on the first floor.

At that time, New China had been proclaimed in Beijing, but Chongqing had not been liberated. The news of the establishment of New China reached Zhazidong, which made the martyrs imprisoned here extremely excited. So they secretly made a five-star red flag with sheets and paper shells in prison according to the description that four stars surrounded one star.

This "five-star red flag" has faded now. It is extremely embarrassing that these people who made the red flag did not see the real national flag rising, so they all died here.

Bai Mansion also has an interrogation room transformed from a bomb shelter, which was the place where the Kuomintang used torture. When I walked to the door of the air-raid shelter, a cold air came on my face, and the tunnel wall was wet and full of water.

Cinder cave

Zhazidong was originally a small coal mine, named after less coal and more slag. It was later transformed into a prison for revolutionary parties and underground people. On the eve of Chongqing's liberation, the Kuomintang created the 1 1.27 tragedy that shocked China and foreign countries, and more than 300 patriots were killed here.

This scum hole is bigger than the white house, with two yards. The smaller one is the outer court, which is the office of the spy and the interrogation and execution room. Through the glass, you can see the interrogation table, chains, bamboo sticks, pepper water, tiger stools and other instruments of torture, which is shocking.

The building of the inner courtyard is divided into two floors, which are used to hold prisoners. 16 the rooms on the first floor and the first floor are male prisons, and the two bungalows are female prisons. In the yard, you can also see traces of people being forced to work in the past.

Hongyan Soul Exhibition Hall and Martyrs' Tomb

The exhibition hall and the tomb of the martyrs are a scenic spot, so they are put together.

The exhibition hall is divided into two floors, and there are seven exhibition halls in it, which introduce in detail the situation of martyrs who suffered here that year.

It's very quiet here and there is a solemn atmosphere. I walked around the tomb and looked at the photos of the martyrs who died. Some people didn't even have any photos. I think of what happened to them in Zhazidong and Baigongguan, and my mind is full of thoughts.

In addition to remembering the martyrs, Geleshan itself is also a forest park. It is cool in summer, so calm down. It is also a good experience to come here for a summer walk.

There are many elements such as Woods, railways and bus stops, which are very interesting. Walking is recommended when the weather is not hot.

In addition, these scenic spots are not far apart, and can be reached by walking 15 minutes. There are a large number of residential areas, factories and schools in Gele Mountain, and it is also convenient to rest and eat here. You can eat Geleshan spicy chicken, crispy pepper and hemp, which tastes very good.

Tour route of Zhongshan 4th Road Anti-Japanese People's Street: Guiyuan-Better Day Shooting Place-Dai Mansion-Zhou Mansion-Zengjiayan Academy.

During the Anti-Japanese War, a large number of offices were distributed on Zhongshan 4th Road. These buildings were restored after the war, retaining the combination of Chinese and western styles of blue bricks and tiles, arched windows and arcades, as well as a strong style of the Republic of China. Even Starbucks and Rosen have been decorated in the style of the Republic of China and become part of the most beautiful streets in Chongqing.

On both sides of the street are all kinds of old buildings with a sense of time. It is quiet and tree-lined, attracting film and television crews such as "Beautiful Days" to take photos.

Guiyuan

Guiyuan is named after two osmanthus plants in the hospital. Here, you can feel the complicated forms of war recorded in history books.

An impressive inscription in the room reads: "Wan Li, the future is in sight, and the new China belongs to our younger generation". It seems shocking.

There is a small photo exhibition at the exit, which can review the historical background of the Chongqing negotiations.

A better day to shoot.

"Good Days" was filmed between Zhou Mansion and Guiyuan. Actually, it's just a short road. It is on this road that Xiao Bei, played by Jackson Yi in the movie, quietly follows behind to protect his beloved.

The thick roots of the banyan tree make the whole tree grow like a stone wall, which is very conspicuous and attracts many tourists and fans to take pictures and punch in here.

The trees in this area are shaded and the colors are monotonous, so it will be more brilliant to wear colorful clothes to shoot.

The Moral Classics School across the road was built in the eightieth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1892). Now it is Dejing Primary School. Although it is impossible to go in, the house numbers with blue bricks and white walls are also very suitable for taking photos of the Republic of China.

Zhou mansion

Zhou Mansion is a little bigger than Guiyuan, and its specifications are not so serious. It is more like an ordinary residence, leaving many traces of life. There are also earthen stoves and kitchens burning in the yard, which makes people feel very kind.

The bedroom and office are the most luxurious rooms in the whole house, but only paved with cement, plus rattan chairs and wide benches, vividly interpreting the fine style of hard work.

What impressed me most about Zhou Mansion was a poem in the middle of the hall, "Eight years of anti-Japanese living here, three dozen laughing new. Dai Li is a right neighbor and always looks at people who enter the door from north to south. " What he said was that Dai Li sent someone to monitor Zhou Fu at that time.

Dai Fu deployed a "special investigation team" to monitor Zhoufu less than 50 meters to the right of Zhoufu, which shows the tension of the situation.

Below the poem is a guest book for tourists. Many people are waiting in line to leave messages and have written two big books.

I looked through it and it was left by an anonymous tourist. The words "Do not forget your initiative mind, keep in mind the mission", look at the traces left by the revolutionary predecessors who worked hard in those years, and the words on the guest book, and I feel a lot in an instant. What they did will be remembered by future generations forever.

To sum up, whether it is Zhazidong concentration camp or Zhongshan 4th Road Anti-Japanese Cultural Street. When you visit, you will always hear people around you sigh. The present happy life was created by the revolutionaries who died that year.

So reverence arises spontaneously, which makes people cherish the hard-won stable life now.

I strongly recommend you to go to these two places. Although they have a plain and serious side, they also have a beautiful side.
