Legal basis: Article 25 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Safety in Production provides safety education and training for employees, ensuring that employees have the necessary knowledge of safety in production, are familiar with the rules and regulations related to safety in production and safety operation procedures, master the safety operation skills of their posts, understand the emergency measures for accidents, and know their rights and obligations in safety production. Employees who have not passed the safety education and training are not allowed to work at their posts. Where production and business operation entities use labor dispatch personnel, they shall bring the labor dispatch personnel into the unified management of their employees, and educate and train the labor dispatch personnel in post safety operation procedures and safety operation skills. The labor dispatch unit shall provide the dispatched workers with necessary education and training in production safety. Where a production and business operation entity accepts the internship of students from secondary vocational schools or institutions of higher learning, it shall conduct corresponding safety education and training for the interns and provide necessary labor protection articles. The school shall assist the production and business operation entities to carry out safety education and training for interns. The production and business operation entity shall establish the archives of safety production education and training, and truthfully record the time, content, participants and assessment results of safety production education and training.
