Shenzhen University's 20 12 Hong Kong Enrollment Plan has been released. However, the Admissions Office of Shenzhen University indicated that candidates would be selected according to their interviews and the results of the secondary school diploma examination.

Enroll 30 Hong Kong students without examination.

Recently, the Admissions Office of Shenzhen University issued the "Implementation Measures for Shenzhen University's 20 12 Full-time Undergraduate Admission of Hong Kong Students without Examination" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures"), and Shenzhen University will interview and admit 30 Hong Kong students next year. The reporter learned that Shenzhen University will recruit Hong Kong students in the interview next year. The majors are finance, law, advertising, business administration, computer science and technology, and automation. Each major plans to recruit 5 students. In addition to computer science and technology and automation, science, engineering, agriculture and medicine, the other four majors are both liberal arts and sciences.

It is reported that this is the first time that Shenzhen University has enrolled Hong Kong students without examination. Previously, Shenzhen University recruited Hong Kong students through the national entrance examination. Yao Kai, director of the Admissions Office of Shenzhen University, said that all majors in Shenzhen University are jointly enrolled for Hong Kong students. Due to the small scale of the first exemption, only some majors are open. However, after enrollment, the standards for student training and tuition fees are the same. Yao Kai believes that the new policy of entrance examination-free has changed the situation of "one exam determines one's life", and given a comprehensive and diversified evaluation to Hong Kong candidates, which is more flexible and a useful attempt.

Shenda said that the interview will be held in April next year, and the interview list will be published on the website of Shenda at the end of March next year.

Exemption from the test will also be "priority admission"

Yao Kai said that Hong Kong students admitted to Shenzhen University scored more than 50 points in the National Joint Examination. "Hong Kong students are better, especially English, but the individual differences are quite big."

Although it is a test-free enrollment, because the number of applicants will exceed the planned number, the Shenzhen University Admissions Office said that it will "select the best candidates". According to the Admissions Office of Shenzhen University, the school will select Hong Kong students by major according to the candidates' interviews and the results of the Hong Kong Secondary School Diploma or Advanced Level Examination, and referring to the candidates' learning experience during their secondary school years.

According to the Admissions Office of Shenzhen University, the minimum entrance requirements for Hong Kong students enrolled in Shenzhen University as "test-free students" are "3, 3, 2, 2" in the four core subjects of the Hong Kong Secondary School Diploma Examination, that is, China Chinese and English have reached Grade 3, and mathematics and general education have reached Grade 2. In addition, candidates of literature and history must take additional exams in history and geography, with scores above Grade 2, and candidates of science, engineering, agriculture and medicine must take additional exams in physics and chemistry, with scores above Grade 2.
