Here are a few basic concepts you need to know when filling out your volunteers:
First, the significance of the admission batch
Due to the large number of colleges and universities in various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), it is impossible for all colleges and universities to enroll students at the same time, so colleges and universities at different levels enroll students in batches, thus forming admission batches. Admission batches are roughly divided into:
Colleges and universities admitted in advance: including military colleges, armed police colleges, public security colleges, normal undergraduate colleges directly under the Ministry of Education, air force and civil aviation colleges (majors) with special requirements.
The first batch of undergraduate courses: universities directly under the Ministry of Education, "2 1 1 Project" universities, key universities jointly established by former ministries and commissions, and universities (majors) approved to participate in this batch of admission.
The third batch of undergraduate courses: independent colleges, private colleges and universities approved by the Ministry of Education jointly run schools.
The second batch of undergraduate courses: ordinary colleges and universities except the first and third batches of undergraduate courses.
The first batch of colleges: higher vocational colleges (specialties) for ordinary undergraduate colleges and independent colleges.
The second batch of majors: independent colleges, higher vocational colleges, private colleges, joint schools of ordinary universities, adult colleges and ordinary higher vocational colleges (majors) established with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
The above batch division may vary from province to province.
Second, the meaning of provincial control line, shift line and record line
Before the college entrance examination, the provincial admissions office announced the total enrollment plan of the province (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the number of candidates in each batch according to the statistics of the examination papers of the province (autonomous regions and municipalities) in that year, which is the provincial control line of each batch. Candidates can only fill in this batch and the following batches of colleges and universities if their test scores reach a certain batch of provincial control lines.
Each batch of admission, the provincial admissions office according to a certain proportion (generally not more than 1: 1? 2, by colleges and universities in its "enrollment charter" first announced) to colleges and universities. For example, a batch of colleges and universities planned to enroll 100 students in a province that year, and the batch enrolled 1: 1? 2 ratio (that is, 120 people) came to a university for the first time, and the score of 120 people was the shift line of a university in the province that year. 120 students are selected by a university according to the comprehensive evaluation of "morality, intelligence and physical fitness", and the score of 100 students is the admission line or the lowest admission line of the school in that year (if one volunteer is dissatisfied or zero, follow-up volunteers will enroll 100 students. The promotion line is mainly aimed at the enrollment work of the school. In fact, it is a "dotted line", which has little reference significance for candidates to fill in their volunteers. It is important to look at the lowest admission score, the highest admission score and the average score of the school in the province (city) where the candidate is located for three consecutive years.
Third, the meaning of "two see one"
"Two depending on one" is a measure taken by some provinces to protect high-scoring candidates from unsuccessful volunteering. Refers to the first batch of undergraduate admissions, the first choice is not on the shift line, but the score is higher than the shift line of the second choice institution. If the institution whose second choice is reported clearly expresses its willingness to enroll the candidates with higher scores in the second choice, then their second choice will be regarded as the first choice and put into the file of the first choice institution (hereinafter referred to as "two books one"). Schools that are willing to admit candidates with high scores in the second choice must first announce their scores in the enrollment plan and the "Admissions Charter" announced to the public. The specific score of this poor performance is determined by the lowest score stipulated by the admissions office of the enrollment province. For example, the Sichuan Provincial Admissions Office stipulates that "it must be above 40 points, and it is not clearly implemented according to 40 points". If a candidate scores 650 points, he/she will be the first candidate to apply for a university, but the shift line of a university is 652 points, so the candidate's first volunteer file cannot be cast. University B, which happened to enter the second place, has the regulation of "two books and one sight" (the difference in grades is 40 points), and the shift line of University B is 608 points. Then the candidate's 650-point test score MINUS the shift line of B University is 42 points, which is just within the range of grade difference stipulated by B University. His file can be released at the same time as other candidates who volunteered to apply for the school.
Fourth, the meaning of the difference in specialist level
If the first choice is not satisfied, some colleges and universities will set a score limit for candidates who fill in the second choice (the specific score will be announced in the enrollment charter). For example, Wang, a candidate with a score of 650, first chose to go to a university, but didn't. Assuming that Wang applied for University B as his second choice, the school stipulated that the score difference was 50 points higher than the minimum score line (or average score) of the first choice, and Wang's test score was higher than the minimum score line (or average score) after deducting 50 points, then Wang's file could be invested in University B, and this score of 50 points is the difference in the specialist level of two volunteer candidates from University B. It should be noted, however, that if such colleges and universities apply as second volunteers, then you have to pay attention to whether the schools are full of volunteers in recent years. If there is, you should fill it in carefully, otherwise it is meaningless to get a high score.
There is also a situation of grade difference in colleges and universities: when there are enough students, colleges and universities will also admit some candidates who have reported their high scores (because a volunteer has applied to another school), and their grade difference scores and admission ratio will be announced in the admissions regulations first.
The meaning of verb (verb's abbreviation) enrollment charter
The enrollment charter of colleges and universities is the main form for colleges and universities to announce relevant information to the society, and it is an important basis for them to carry out enrollment work and recruit new students. The enrollment regulations of colleges and universities generally include the following contents: general rules, full name of the school, school address (branch school and campus must be specified), level (undergraduate and higher vocational), and school type (such as ordinary or adult colleges, public or private colleges, independent colleges, higher vocational colleges or higher vocational and technical colleges). ), the form of study, enrollment institutions, enrollment majors, number of students and charging standards, and the name and certificate of the school that issued the academic certificate. Admission rules are particularly critical for candidates, which list admission principles, restrictions or preferential conditions. For example, whether to admit candidates who are not the first choice, the difference between volunteering and majors, the implementation of preferential policies for extra points, the requirements for single subjects, the ratio of male to female students, the requirements for professional physical conditions, and the conditions for awarding loans are very important for candidates to fill in the school. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, colleges and universities should publicize the enrollment regulations, and schools should be based on the established admission rules, and no additional conditions should be attached. Candidates must read carefully before filling in their volunteers to avoid unnecessary mistakes.
Sixth, the highest score of admission
The highest score refers to the score of the highest score candidates admitted by a university in a certain enrollment area during the enrollment year. The highest score has certain reference value in candidates' voluntary reporting.
Seven, the minimum admission score
The lowest score refers to the score of the last admitted candidate. The lowest score of isolation is of little reference significance in volunteering. Candidates should never think that they may be admitted if they reach the lowest score, which is very dangerous.
Eight, the average score of admission
The average score refers to the average score of all admitted candidates. The average score is the embodiment of the average level of candidates entering colleges and universities that year. Compared with the average score of several years, if the candidate can be in this position, there is a great possibility that the candidate will be admitted. It can be said that using the average score can avoid the influence of "big and small years". Therefore, when we use the fractional line, we should combine the highest score, the lowest score and the average score, and pay special attention to the significance of the average score.
Nine, the number of students admitted
That is, the number of people actually admitted that year. The reference significance of the number of volunteers is to analyze the number of volunteers when using the enrollment data of different majors. According to professional statistics, it is of great reference significance for schools with a large number of students enrolled in various majors, which can reflect the enthusiasm of applying for majors. However, for colleges with a very small number of students, it is accidental to press the professional admission score line, which reduces the reference significance and cannot be used as the main reference for whether to fill in the major.
