On this issue, the "three flavors" view is:
On the one hand, there are few teachers in the world who don't want less homework and less trouble. The existing problems are: the evaluation of the school is "only score theory"; The social evaluation of the school is "only the enrollment rate".
On the other hand, there are few parents in the world who don't want their children's academic performance to get better and better. The problem is: I want my children to get good grades, but I am afraid to spend more time and energy and do more parental responsibilities. I am eager to kick all my children to the teacher.
Obviously, the root of this contradiction between home and school is that a few teachers and a few parents have gone to the extremes of the above two aspects in education.
When there is a contradiction between the school and the school, the higher education administrative department must only have the right to take compulsory measures against the school and teachers, but not to make irresponsible remarks about parents.
But the "three flavors" just don't understand: for teachers, students are parents' children after all, but why should they be more worried about their poor grades than parents?
The administrative department of education prohibits teachers from doing too much homework and attending classes overtime. Why are teachers so stubborn and relaxed, but ask for trouble?
Teachers should reflect on it!
Finally, as an old teacher, I have to talk about parents:
Although individual teachers may over-assign students' homework and ask parents to correct it, it has caused burden and pressure to parents, which is really wrong! However, if parents really want their children to do better in school, no matter whether the teacher is responsible or not, there is not much homework. Every day, you should take some time to check your child's homework, or independently assign some homework to your child and correct it, so as to understand and track your child's learning situation in detail and try to get in touch with the teacher.
Someone once asked: Why don't most teachers' children study badly?
In fact, the fundamental reason is not that teachers' children are more gifted, but that teachers never give in to their children's studies and never feel sorry for their children in their studies. Therefore, no matter how hard teachers try, they are always strict with their children's learning, regardless of the cost!
This, at least ideologically, is worth learning from parents.
