"Teach all knowledge to all people" is a vivid embodiment of Comenius' thought of pan-intellectual education.
"All knowledge", that is, extensive knowledge of nature, Comenius therefore advocated encyclopedic courses; "Everyone", that is, the general public, Comenius's pan-intellectual education embodies the idea of universal education.
Comenius is a famous educator in Czech Republic. He inherited the humanistic education thought during the European Renaissance and Reformation, summed up his long-term educational experience and studied many problems in education, which laid the foundation for the formation of modern educational theory.
The completion of his educational masterpiece "Great Teaching Theory" marks that the education discipline has become an independent discipline. He was called by later generations as the person who paid the most attention to educational practice and the founder of educational science.
Educational purposes:
Influenced by his own educational experience and religious background, Comenius believes that education has two purposes:
First, the practical purpose, also known as the direct purpose of education, is to cultivate people with knowledge, virtue and piety.
The second is the religious purpose, also known as the ultimate purpose of education, that is, education prepares for eternal life.
Memory formula: Class Encyclopedia follows nature, which is both independent and general.
