Xiangzhou District Education Bureau is the government department in charge of education of the District People's Government. According to their responsibilities, the Education Bureau has five functional units (offices). There are 7 1 primary and secondary schools in the whole region, including 45 public primary and secondary schools (35 primary schools, middle schools 10) and 26 private schools (including 9 primary schools/kloc-0). By the end of February 2009, there were 126 kindergartens, 32 nurseries, 50 non-academic training institutions and 4 adult schools.
