2. Language of works of art

The artistic language of a work of art refers to the image and form that is specially used by art and has the function of visual communication. Its characteristics are concreteness and visualization. In a broad sense, it means that everything involved in the expression of works of art has the attribute of language. In a narrow sense, it refers to the basic language elements and language means of art. Including texture, body mass, space, tension, texture, rhythm and so on.

3. The social function of art

Art is the product of social existence, so it bears the role of social functions, mainly in three aspects, namely, cognitive function, aesthetic function and educational function.
