Essay on Education: Accepting Children and Inclusive Children
165438+1On the afternoon of October 29th, Professor Wang Huiping, deputy director of ludong university Institute of Education, took us to study the critical period of children's psychological development and education. Through study, we have learned seven critical periods for children aged 3-6, as well as the general principles and methods of education. However, what impressed me most was the two practical activities that Professor Wang and we did.

In activity 1, Professor Wang asked the teachers present to cross their fingers first, and then repeated it several times before observing which hand was above and which hand was below. Later, Professor Wang asked us to change the position of our hands, and as a result, everyone felt particularly uncomfortable. I tried several times, but I still feel uncomfortable. Finally, Professor Wang told us how to put it comfortably. As a result, everyone returned to the original placement method, and the results were the same several times in a row. Regarding our "persistence in teaching", Professor Wang explained affectionately: "Now you understand, why do you ask your children earnestly what to do, but they insist on teaching?" It turns out that it is not only children who refuse to change education, but also our teachers themselves. Does it really matter whether the left hand is on the floor or the right hand is on the floor? Should we praise the left hand and criticize the right hand in class? It doesn't matter much at all Therefore, apart from some principled issues, such as beating, smashing and looting, fighting, we should put it down when it is time to put it down.

In activity 2, Professor Wang gave each of our teachers a blank piece of paper, and let's tear it into a square. Then, according to Professor Wang's language tips, we fold it in half, tear off an isosceles triangle with a side length of about two centimeters in the upper right corner, fold it in half again, and tear off a fan in the upper left corner. When we open it, the flowers in the teachers' hands are different. The same piece of paper, the same language prompt, but the result is a different flower shape. Each of us has a different understanding of things, what's more, today when personality education is advocated, we should stand in the children's perspective, put ourselves in their shoes, understand their understanding and tolerate their thoughts.

Whether it is a game of crossing fingers or a game of tearing paper, it tells us the same truth. Everyone is different, and of course every child is different. A hundred children have a hundred languages. We should respect children's ideas, respect their understanding, accept different voices and tolerate different habits. As long as it is not a mistake in principle, let us bravely let go and let the children develop freely.
