According to Shanghai Education official website, there are 29 special education schools in Shanghai, including blind schools 1, four schools for the deaf, auxiliary schools 19, five vocational schools, special kindergartens 1, 28 places for preschool education and 3 places for full-time higher education. Nine-year compulsory education and high school education students 10933, including 4909 students in special education schools, 5575 students in ordinary classes, 449 students in special education classes, and about 70 students in full-time blind and deaf colleges and universities. There are 564 preschool children in the park.
